KO-503 (barrel) is a welded structure of 2 bottoms and a cylindrical shell made of rolled steel. Two corners are welded inside the tank to increase rigidity.
The KO-503 tank is mounted on the spars of the base chassis frame with the help of supports and is attached by ladders.
The tank has a slope towards the discharge of waste. In the front part, a neck is welded on top, where the lid is mounted.
