Seeders-cultivators UPC zernotukovye are designed for strip sowing of seeds of grain and leguminous crops with simultaneous pre-sowing cultivation, the introduction of mineral granular fertilizers and strip rolling of the soil after sowing on stubble and non-fallow stubble backgrounds, as well as for the cultivation of vapors. In addition, the presence of a spring harrow on some modifications ensures the leveling of the surface layer of the soil after rolling, combing out weeds and mulching the surface of the field.

Basically, seeders are used in areas with insufficient moisture and soils subject to wind erosion. For the possibility of using the seeder on waterlogged soils, some modifications provide for the installation of a replaceable battery of rollers with pneumatic rollers. Seeders ensure the quality of work with soil moisture up to 25% (depending on the ripeness of the soil) and its hardness in a layer of 0-10 cm to 20 kg / cm2. Crop residues (scattered crushed straw and high-stemmed crops) are allowed on the field. The seeders are hydrofected.
